At the Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF), this question has even more answers. Boasting the unique tropical island landscape of the country, HIIFF brings films to more scenic spots to meet more people.
During the 6th edition of the festival, the "Open-Air Screenings" section created a brand-new brand IP, "HIIFF Open-Air Screenings". Lighting up the screen in one dreamlike venue after another, it lets the light of cinema shine into the daily lives of citizens and tourists.

With the 7th HIIFF approaching, the HIIFF Open-Air Screenings renew their promise with the sunset, heading to beaches, mountaintops, and city squares, allowing films and fresh air to create a chemical reaction that brings unexpected viewing experiences.
At the Tianya Town in Maling Community, Sanya, we will sit by the beach to watch outstanding recent Chinese and international films that have brought us joy and reflection; at the Luhuitou Scenic Area, we will watch a series of stories about growth and choice amidst the embrace of mountains and sea; at Sanya Summer Station, we will journey through 80 years of glorious Thai film history via a series of outstanding Thai films; and at the CMG Sanya Base, audiences will witness the crystallized talent of creators from ASEAN countries.
You may have already noticed that this lineup includes special screening programs co-presented with two partners. Among them, the films for the "Weibo Film Special Screening", co-presented with Weibo, will be decided by your vote. Please vote on the official HIIFF Weibo account or the Weibo Movies official account.
The "bilibili Easter Egg Special Screening", co-presented with bilibili, will also meet you as promised. In Langlangshan Little Monster, we will embark on a unique journey to obtain Buddhist scriptures together.
