Volunteer Recruitment

At Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF), the spirit of volunteers embodies gentle yet unwavering dedication. They make no secret of their passion for moving images, drawing near to light and shadow without regret. Crossing the divides of ocean and land, they arrive on the island. With their faint glimmers, they collectively build warmth, illuminating the silver screen with unique hues.

Enfolded gently by the ocean and breathing in rhythm with the tides, this is more than just a dream drawing volunteers to the island. The sea shapes all who come close to it. Here, volunteers learn to be as open‑hearted and free as the ocean, embracing its storms.

Born on Hainan Island, HIIFF seeks to create a haven for cinema, opening its arms to every gaze turned toward it. As the year draws to a close, we look forward to journeying across the island alongside all light‑seekers: stepping into the unknown and discovering new wonders.
