Sanya's new urban commercial landmark — Wanhua Dong'an Luzhou — today officially announced its role as the Art and Lifestyle Official Partner of the 7th Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF).
During this annual international celebration of cinema, as Sanya's first non-standard commercial block, Dong'an Luzhou, based on its brand philosophy of a "youthful lifestyle and cultural community" and focusing on the operational tone of "humanistic warmth" and "content spirit," will use its unique "non-standard" commercial block style to add a distinctive artistic and lifestyle touch to the festival. Furthermore, it will transform into a vibrant hub connecting film, culture, and the public, hosting a series of events including media receptions, filmmakers' receptions, volunteer receptions, and the HIIFF poster exhibition wall.
This collaboration is not the first encounter between Dong'an Luzhou and the art of film. In October this year, the block successfully hosted the "Young Coconut Project Special Retrospective". As an important section of the Hainan Island International Film Festival, the Young Coconut Project has always been dedicated to discovering and nurturing emerging talents in Chinese-language cinema. The successful realization of this retrospective at Dong'an Luzhou not only served as a warm-up for the festival but also demonstrated the block's firm support for young filmmakers and its determination and capability to continuously empower Hainan's film and television cultural industry.
Since its opening a year ago, Dong'an Luzhou has hosted everything from unique and outstanding original markets and art pop-up exhibitions leading lifestyle aesthetics, to music parties attracting the youth demographic... Dong'an Luzhou has always been committed to building itself into an urban cultural platform that continuously generates fresh content. Its unconventional open-block design and architectural philosophy integrating nature and humanities highly resonate with the creativity, freedom, and emotional resonance pursued by the art of film. This partnership with the Hainan Island International Film Festival will serve as the best testament to Dong'an Luzhou's core philosophy of "integrating art into daily life, and interpreting aesthetics through living."
The 7th HIIFF is about to commence. By then, Dong'an Luzhou will leverage its unique spatial charm and vibrant atmosphere to showcase to the world a new Sanya landmark that possesses not only breathtaking scenery but also profound cultural connotations and boundless innovative vitality.
